Professional Development Opportunities

We aim to provide you with professional development opportunities to strengthen your impact. Through Webinars and Connection-Based Meetings, we'll explore ways to grow, collaborate, and maximize our impact.

Differences Between the Webinar Series and Connection-Based Meetings

Webinar Series:

  • Purpose: Focuses on providing structured learning opportunities.
  • Format: Presentations by a leader or expert designed to educate and share resources, tools, and methodologies.
  • Engagement: Primarily one-directional, with information flowing from the presenter to the audience. A question-and-answer session at the end may provide limited interaction, but it is not the main focus.
  • Objective: To equip participants with knowledge and actionable insights on specific topics.
  • Tone: Formal and instructional.

Connection-Based Meetings:

  • Purpose: Facilitates discussions and collaboration among participants.
  • Format: Encourages open dialogue around a chosen topic, allowing participants to share ideas, successes, challenges, and solutions in a casual environment.
  • Engagement: Highly interactive, with an emphasis on peer-to-peer learning and inter-center collaboration.
  • Objective: To foster a supportive community, enable problem-solving, and share experiences to strengthen collective efforts.
  • Tone: Informal and conversational.
